Eye Candy #198 - "Until Death" (The Damme #8)

Until Death:  One of the most recent films from The Damme, with JC as Stowe, a heroin-addicted amoral cop who, after being beaten and shot into a coma, comes back a better person trying to make amends to the various people he screwed along the way (those that are still alive) while also contending with his former partner Callaghan (Steven Rea, in a role he‘s above), who is even more amoral than Stowe was.  Think of it like “Regarding Henry”, just with violence and drugs.  Set in New Orleans (but filmed extensively in Bulgaria; I had no idea the two locations had so much in common).  Largely unsatisfying, with some truly awful acting and JC looking like he’s been rode hard and put away wet.  Woodchuck sez, “Exactly what I expected.”
