Eye Candy #100 - "The Man from Earth"
The Man From Earth: An interesting one-set drama, about a man revealing to some of his academic peers that he's been alive since the Paleolithic era and is over 14,000 years old, causing them to question their own ideas about biology, anthropology, and religion. Quite a few "face" actors in this one (including John Billingsley, William Katt, and Tony Todd, in a rare dramatic turn). Interesting premise and a half-successful attempt, but the film is quite simply too short. I know it says 90 minutes, but the bulk of the film is done 10 minutes prior. Still, I found it interesting for what it was and don't regret watching it. Woodchuck sez, "Worth a look, but probably not for all tastes."
