Eye Candy #264 - "The Strangers"

The Strangers:  A horror movie allegedly based on real events (and by “real events”, it means the Manson “family“, not something that happened to a real couple).  Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman are a young couple terrorized at the family bungalow by a trio of masked psychos who appear and disappear at will, barely talk, and move as silently as a bunch of fricking ninjas for reasons that are  NEVER explained.  Their motives for doing this?  “Because you were home.”  Which as far as motivations go is pretty darn Unsatisfactory.  Not to mention the utter stupidity of Tyler and Speedman as victims.  It was a chore to sit through this.  I can handle Dumb and Unpleasant separately, but not together which is what we got here.   Thank goodness it’s short.  Disappointing…but short.  Woodchuck sez, “Skip it.”
